and I did not know it.
BEFORE THE FALL OF MANKIND
Before The Degradation Of Spirit Man
Knowledge of the true spiritual state of man before the fall in the Garden of Eden (spiritual devaluation) will help you understand the meaning of Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. It will also make you know the beauty, goodness and greatness of the Spirit Man created by God. Thereby, you will appreciate yourself as a Prince or Princess, who is a bright, glorious and mighty Son of God. You should stop believing those teachings that incline you to accept being a beggar, weak or insignificant, who is at the mercy of fate. The real problem of the world is that, out of ignorance, mankind have developed Science and Technology, and at the same time neglected Spiritual Science.
The Spirit Man created by God had and exhibited the following characteristics:
- A bright and a glorious nature.
- A strong and mighty spirit self.
- Fellowship with God and Angels (companionship and friendship with God and Angels).
- Ability to see the heavens from the earth, as well as the ability to see Angels serving and praising God.
- The right to Paradise: the place of brightness and glory, wherein is peace and everywhere is love, and wherein all things are good and fruitful. The abode of light (brightness).
- Ability to walk in the air or move on the water.
- Ability to move at will. For in the spirit, time and space do not exist as we see/know them on earth. That is why spirit can appear and disappear; or disappear from a place, and immediately appear at another place.
- Ability to live a life without sickness and pains.
- Ability to enter the Heavens.
- Ability to enjoy the best of music and songs used in the praise of God.
- Ability to do things at will, simply by a command. For example, to move a table from one place to another, you do not need to carry the table. You can command the table to be at the place you want it.
- Ability to read people’s mind, as well as the ability to communicate with the plants, animals, etc.
- The right to eat from the tree of life, which would have given them knowledge and ability to live incorruptible life.
- The life of ease and enjoyment.
- A life full of joyfulness and gladness.
- Ability to see in all directions (360° x 360°).
- Spirit of prophecy : Ability to know the past, the present and the future. For example, Adam was not present when the animals were created. Yet, he was able to give name to each animal according to its nature.
- A spiritual body, which is everlasting, and full of glory and brightness.
When man lost all these virtues and rights, he became depraved. He became poor in spirit. Therefore, God came in the form of Almighty Love (Jesus Christ) to restore (save) what was lost. Therefore, Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven" - This simply means, "Rejoice, for what you lost have been restored to you both here on earth and in the Heaven." In other words, entering Heaven is not reserved for the dead only. A living person can visit the Heavens and still continue to live on earth.
Parable Of the Charcoal and Fire
First, consider a charcoal inside a fire.
The charcoal is red hot. Therefore, it is fire.
Also, it is inside the fire and the fire is inside it.
The two are one.
(The glorious state before the fall.)
Next, the charcoal is removed from the fire.
Gradually, it loses its heat energy and brightness.
Eventually, it loses all the heat energy,
and becomes black
(Poor in spirit)
.
Now, the house owner comes again
to rekindle the fire in the charcoal.
He places it back inside the fire. And the charcoal becomes
red hot again. This time, forever.
(Salvation)
This parable illustrates Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Revelation 3:21
When Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," He meant that:
- People are already poor in spirit. The poverty is so bad that He even advised a person to “let the dead bury their own dead. (Leave those who are spiritually dead to continue in their ignorance and frivolities.)” It does not mean that people should become poor in spirit.
- The kingdom is already here and waiting for people who would enter into it. In other words, a person living on earth can visit the heavens, just as Jesus went up the mountain with three disciples, who experienced the glorious kingdom during the transfiguration.
- It is up to the children of God to seek and find this kingdom. This is a mark of spiritual maturity and responsibility, an assurance that a person is fit to live in the kingdom. You may take a horse to the stream, but you cannot force it to drink water.
